Supply list—Drawing/Portfolio Prep

Drawing Materials: This list is intended to be a guide. If a student wishes to extend the list to meet his/her needs, any experimentation with non-traditional materials is encouraged.

• 18 x 24 Drawing paper tablet
• 1 sheet Bristol Board /or cardstock
• sketchbook
• tracing paper
• vine charcoal
• compressed charcoal
• glue stick
• conte crayons - sanguin
• graphite pencils- 3H thru 4B
• white plastic eraser
• kneaded eraser
• pencil sharpener (small) or exacto knife
• ruler
• Speedball super black india ink (2 oz bottle)
• small brush (bamboo or sumi brush preferable)
• Speedball nib holder (pen) and nibs
• Prismacolor colored pencils (set of 12)
• workable spray fixative (optional)
• assortment of found papers (for collage)
• absorbent cloth rags
• container to hold water

Art-bin/or tackle box to carry supplies (optional)
