Supply list— Kumihimo: The Ancient Art of Japanese Braiding

Students should bring:

• a selection of 7 color coordinated fibers for weaving
• Fibers can be made of fabric, ribbon, beaded cord, leather, etc. (Fibers must be a minimum of 26 inches in length.)
• If students want to weave beads into their design they should pre-thread the beads onto a 26 inch string for weaving (don't forget to knot both ends). Teacher will provide weaving tool.
