Session 1: The Great Outdoors
June 18 – 29
$500 for Family PLUS Members & above / $550 Non-Members

Campers will use landscapes, cityscapes, seascapes, wilderness, poetry, and even the Museum’s outdoor sculptures, for inspiration during this session. Art activities will explore the use of  natural materials, watercolors, and clay.

Session 2: The Artist’s Toolbox
July 2 – 13 (no camp July 4)
$450 for Family PLUS Members & above / $500 Non-Members

Fill your artist tool box with the elements of art! Campers will look at and create artworks exploring the process of art-making. Elements such as shape, form, pattern, color, and line will be discovered through fun and exciting class projects, such as colorful printmaking and imaginative clay sculpture.

Session 3: Animal Tales
July 16 – 27
$500 for Family PLUS Members & above / $550 Non-Members

Take an adventurous trip through the Museum’s collections! Explore animals in artwork, such as Deborah Butterfield’s Riot and Abbott Handerson Thayer’s The Old Lion. Afterwards, create fanciful or ferocious artworks inspired by animals -- both real and imagined. Projects include ceramic figures, cut paper designs, and roaring masks.

Session 4: Faces and Places
July 30 – August 10
$500 for Family PLUS Members & above / $550 Non-Members

Campers will find inspiration in the Museum’s collection while making their own artwork full of faces and places!  Learn the art of portraits and landscapes through drawing, painting, printing, and ceramics.  Projects will include masks, imagined landscapes, self portraits, and more.
