Instructor: Frank DePietro
Members: $75

This one-day workshop will take painters of all experience levels outdoors to capture the local landscape at Gibralter’s, Marian Coffin Gardens. The focus will be on finding composition, capturing light, shadow and color, using a direct painting approach. Concepts of brush work, color theory, linear and aerial perspective will be touched upon as we work through our paintings. Demonstrations and a supply list will be given in oils but all mediums are welcome. Instruction will be tailored to student’s individual needs. Students will meet via zoom one week before the workshop to go over location and supplies.
