Better Photographs with Any Camera

Whether you are using a cell phone or a high-end camera, there are many ways of making better photographs. In this 4-week course, we will explore rules of composition including Rule of Thirds, Lines to Corners, Fill the Frame, Subject Separated from Background, Balance, Repetition, Frame Within a Frame, Simplification, Limited Color Palette, and many more. The first rule, of course, is that there are no rules in art. If you have already mastered that one, you are ready for the rest. Homework images will be projected and discussed in class in addition to those produced in class.
