These informal figure drawing sessions start with quick sketch warm-ups and end with 2-3 longer poses. Drawing instruction and demonstration will be provided during the first warm-up. Open Figure Drawing is a great environment for people getting started with the figure as well as experienced artists looking to advance their skills.
Supply List
  • Easels and drawing boards are first come, first served. Please bring your own sketching materials and arrive 10 minutes early to allow yourself time to set-up.    
  • Students with experience are welcome to bring any drawing materials and set up they prefer 
  • Beginner students should bring:    
  • 18 x 24 Drawing paper tablet    
  • sketching set (includes soft vine charcoal, compressed charcoal, conte, graphite pencils, white plastic eraser, kneaded eraser, pencil sharpener)
