Intermediate Enamels
In this extended course students will continue to expand their enameling knowledge while developing specific techniques. New techniques include Cloisonné, China painting, and varies kinds of enamel painting to push surface decoration and texture. Students are encouraged to strengthen and delve into one or a few techniques to focus on throughout the course.
Techniques/processes demonstrated: Cloisonné, China painting, Plique-à-jour, Limoges, ceramic decals, layering, enamel painting, luster.
Supply List
Most supplies provided; students will need to bring an N95 dust Mask and might choose to purchase more enamel colors and copper as the class progresses.
