Metal and Found Objects
Students will work to cohesively combine metal with found objects such as buttons, beach glass, plastic trinkets, and more. Various methods will be used to create pieces of jewelry using problem solving, design, and out-of-the box thinking.
Supply List
Supplies will be discussed on the first day of class, but the following is suggested:
- Found objects such as buttons, breach glass, trinkets, etc.
- 4-6" of 12 or 14 g round of half round wire if you wish to use wire as a ring
- variety of 6"-1' of 24-18 gauge wire with snuggly fitting tubing for step riveting
- 2 sheets of base metal 20 and 22 g
