Stone Setting
Learn a variety of stone-setting techniques for faceted stones, including 4-prong setting, tube setting, flush setting, and bead setting. We will also cover basket-making for non-round stones. Requires some soldering experience.
Supply List
Museum provides some supplies, but students should bring the following: Any faceted stones you would like to know how to set and a variety of silver wire and sheet gauges for fabricating settings.
