COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Updated 10/18/2021 and subject to change.
The Delaware Art Museum is closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 situation. For the health and protection of our Members, guests, and staff, beginning October 1, 2021, the Museum will require all indoor visitors 18 and over to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
To enter the Museum, Studio classes, or any indoor programs or events, please be prepared to show proof of your vaccination status by presenting a vaccination card or a photo of your vaccination card on your phone, along with a photo ID. Currently, 2 doses of Pfizer or Moderna or 1 dose of J & J are required to be considered fully vaccinated.
International visitors, please provide the Museum with an official immunization record from outside the U.S.
All children ages 2-17, regardless of vaccination status, must wear face coverings inside the Museum. All K-12 youth tour students, and any accompanying adults, should always wear masks inside the Museum. Masks may only be removed to eat or drink. Social distancing of 3 feet should be maintained between parties. Masks should be worn by all guests during group gallery tours and in the auditorium when social distancing is limited.
We will remain hopeful that our situation changes for the better, however, should positive cases continue to increase, the Museum will consider additional indoor mask policies this fall. We will also adhere to any statewide mandates imposed by Governor Carney. We will notify all pre-registered guests of any updated policies as they evolve. We will provide a full refund to anyone wishing to withdraw from classes, programs, or events, due to our updated COVID-19 policies.
We ask for your patience and understanding as the situation continues to unfold and as we do our best to keep us all safe.
