Program, Event, and Office Volunteers
Volunteer Applications are not being accepted at this time.
Program, event, and office volunteers assist with a variety of public programs and events, educational activities, and administrative needs throughout the year. Duties and time commitment vary according to Museum needs and type of volunteer. The majority of volunteers work on an on-call basis.
EDUCATION & EVENT VOLUNTEERS
Education and event volunteers assist with children’s art activities, family programs, and public events. Event volunteer duties may include greeting visitors, counting and registering visitors, and assisting families with art activities. These programs are offered throughout the year, usually on weekends or evenings. This is a good opportunity if you enjoy working with children or the public, are outgoing and friendly, and like to meet new people.
SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEERS
Teen volunteers (ages 15 – 18) make a one or two-week commitment to assist with Summer Art Camp.
OFFICE SUPPORT ASSISTANTS
Office support volunteers help with various clerical duties, such as data entry, mailings, and other office related work.
Library Assistants help with shelving books and other various projects on weekdays. The time commitment varies, but most shifts are approximately 1.5-2 hours per week. Computer skills are helpful but not required. This is a good opportunity if you enjoy books and people, are friendly, can think quickly, and have an eye for detail.
