The Mildred Hanby Thompson Red Apple Fund
The Delaware Art Museum’s Mildred Hanby Thompson Red Apple Fund provides scholarships for Summer Art Camp, Youth Studio Art Classes, and Adult Studio Art Classes for teens age 15 – 17 who demonstrate financial need and an interest in the arts.
A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available each session. The amount awarded is determined through a point-based system outlining various degrees of need and depends on the selected class. Scholarships for Youth level studio art classes and camp include supplies; however, scholarship recipients in teen or adult classes will need to purchase their own materials.
To apply, please complete a Mildred Hanby Thompson Red Apple Fund online application: Class Application or Art Camp Application. Applicants will be notified of their status via email. Limit one class per person. All applicants are eligible for scholarships.
