Field Trips
The Delaware Art Museum sparks imagination, encourages deep looking, and inspires creative thinking in learners of all ages and abilities in our art galleries. We offer 60 minute interactive tours, onsite or online, for youth grades PreK through 12. Tours support Delaware state visual arts learning standards, designed with inclusive and equitable education principles, and can be tailored to meet learning needs.

Schedule your visit by completing the application below. In-person guided, self-guided, and virtual visits are available by reservation at least four weeks in advance. Tour availability is limited.
- $6 per student for K-12 on-site visits
- $125 per class for K-12 virtual visits
- $7 per student and $15 per faculty for University on-site visits
One chaperone is complimentary for every four students. Additional chaperones are $6 each.
Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment
Grants are currently available year-round on a rolling basis for youth field trips through the Museum’s Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment. Funding supports tour admission and transportation costs. All public, private, and parochial schools in any state are eligible to apply. The total value of this grant is up to $500.00 per award. Applicants will be notified of their status within 5 business days from the application date. There will be no appeals. Learn more.
