The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents the ground- breaking exhibition The Harlem Renaissance and Transatlantic Modernism. Through some 160 works of painting, sculpture, photography, film, and ephemera, the exhibit explores the comprehensive ways in which Black artists portrayed city life in Harlem and nationwide in the early decades of the Great Migration. This is the first major exhibit covering the Harlem Renaissance since 1987.
This will be a day bus trip leaving the Delaware Art Museum at 7:30 am and returning from The Met at 4:30 pm.
