Chasing and Repoussé to Create Patterns 

Learn how to manipulate copper to create dimensional patterning and design. This 2-day workshop is open to any level of student, from beginner to beyond beginner, with no soldering or metalsmithing experience required. The workshop will teach basic torch control as well as traditional chasing and repoussé, which uses steel punches and a hammer to manipulate metal. You will create a series of 4 small wall hanging textures by the end of the workshop. Supplies: Students bring 6” x 6” sheet copper, 20ga.
