DelArt Readers – Peggy by Rebecca Godfrey with Leslie Jamison
Join us! The DelArt Readers, a community-led book club, meets monthly to discuss, debate, celebrate, and share both works of fiction and non-fiction. Our selections are focused on art, artists, and/or the artistic process either in general or in response to the Museum’s collections or exhibits. In addition to our interest in art and artists, we also seek to create a sense of community, conversation, and connection.
Join us in-person at DelArt on May 28 for Peggy by Rebecca Godfrey with Leslie Jamison. A richly imagined novel about Peggy Guggenheim who finds her cloistered life turned upside down at 14 when her beloved father perishes on the Titanic. His death prompts Peggy to seek a life of passion and personal freedom and, above all to believe in the transformative power of art. (Fiction)
