Gallery Talk: Imprinted

Join us in the galleries for a special talk exploring Imprinted: Illustrating Race. This program offers attendees the chance to gain deeper insight into the themes of the exhibition, the artists featured, and the powerful ways illustration has shaped—and continues to shape—conversations about race and representation in America.
Robyn Phillips-Pendleton is co-curator of Imprinted: Illustrating Race and Professor of Visual Communications in the Department of Art and Design at the University of Delaware. A practicing illustrator, visual storyteller, designer, and educator, she exhibits her work widely, is an artist for the United States Air Force Art Program, and has created imagery for institutions, editorial magazines, and publishing companies.
