Let’s take an artsy literary journey celebrating the work of Christian Robinson and Matt de la Peña! We’ll hop on the Dart bus and head to the Wilmington Public Library together to embark on this adventure. As we ride the bus, we can imagine ourselves in CJ’s world, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. We might encounter bustling markets, friendly faces, and many experiences CJ encounters in the story.
After the reading, you can join a creative art-themed activity based on Robinson’s book Last Stop on Market Street. Our friends at the Wilmington Library can help you sign up for a free library card and receive a free book by Matt de la Peña illustrated by Christian Robinson, with a fun bonus after touring the Delaware Art Museum’s current exhibition of Christian Robinson What Might You Do?.
