Please join us for a preview of two special exhibitions, In Conversation: Will Wilson and Stan Smokler: Steel in Flux. Wilson explores the relationship of technology, identity, agency, and representation in photography while also considering the legacy of historical photographs on the representation of Native peoples in North America.
Smokler’s celebrated found object, steel sculptures continue the trajectory of modernist abstraction. Including work from the late 1970s through 2020, artist’s drawings, and largescale sculptures, this exhibition is on view inside the Museum galleries and outdoors in the Copeland Sculpture Garden.
Members, join us for a vibrant indoor-outdoor event to celebrate these dynamic new exhibitions. Enjoy live music, small bites, and a cash bar.
