Support the community by participating in a service project on MLK Day. After an outdoor kickoff in the morning, volunteer opportunities will be provided offsite with partners throughout the city. While at the Museum, visitors may self-tour Afro-American Images 1971: The Vision of Percy Ricks (proof of vaccination and masks required inside the Museum). Registration required. Dress for outdoor activities and cleanup.

Westside Grows – Outdoor community clean up along the United Way Bridge (Adams Street).
Teen Warehouse (1121 Thatcher St., Wilmington) – Outdoor community street clean up.
One Village Alliance (31 W 31st St, Wilmington) – Community service projects and mentorship program for Raising Kings Week.
10:30 am – 1 pm Museum and Afro American Images 1971: The Vision of Percy Ricks open. Proof of vaccination required for indoor adult visitors.
