About Nagoya String Quartet
Formed in 2022, Nagoya String Quartet is a collaboration between violinists/violists Ian Jett, Jennifer Lang, and Lionel Thomas, and cellist Jennifer Crowell Stomberg. Brought together as faculty of the Suzuki Academy at The Music School of Delaware, Nagoya String Quartet is named for the home of Shinichi Suzuki and is grounded in the Suzuki Method philosophy, especially excellence in musicianship and continuous improvement in a positive environment. As teachers and performers, we enjoy sharing our love of music with audiences of all types, providing experiences that entertain, educate, and bring us together in the language of music.
In past and current seasons, Nagoya String Quartet has enjoyed performance collaborations with clarinetist Dr. LeTriel White and Pepron Pilibossian of Delaware State University and cellist Dr. Lawrence Stomberg of The University of Delaware. They perform regularly on the Faculty and Friends Concert Series at The Music School of Delaware and across the region.
