Sculpture Garden Happy Hours: Veterans Appreciation featuring James Spadola and Friends

Sculpture Garden Happy Hours are lively, relaxed evenings filled with music, creativity, and community. Enjoy live performances, a cash bar, local food trucks, Kaffeina Café, lawn games, and various arts and crafts vendors. Some evenings feature special themes or unique interdisciplinary art experiences alongside the live music.

We can never really thank our veterans enough for their bravery and service to our country, but we feel it is necessary to show our appreciation where we can. During our Veterans Appreciation Night, the Delaware Art Museum will offer a free drink and two months free Museum membership to all veterans. (Must present Valid military ID.)

About James Spadola and Friends

Spadola serves as the Executive Director of Read Aloud Delaware, a statewide nonprofit dedicated to fighting childhood illiteracy. Spadola began his public service journey after 9/11, enlisting in the U.S. Army Reserves as a freshman at the University of Delaware. He earned the Combat Action Badge for his year-long tour in Iraq. Outside of public service, Spadola is an active musician, performing as a guitarist with various singers around town. Spadola and his wife, Leeanne, are proud parents of two young children and share their home with a large, big-headed dog.
