DelArt’s Sculpture Garden Happy Hours are vibrant, laid-back evenings that combine live entertainment with a casual and social atmosphere. Featuring live music, seasonal beverages, local food trucks, Kaffeina Cafe, lawn games, and arts and crafts vendors. Our DelArt Nights don’t end in the summer; once a month, those nights combine with our Happy Hours. These special celebrations will include special themes and interdisciplinary art experiences alongside live music. Happy Hours may be moved indoors or canceled due to inclement weather. About Josh David Barrett

Josh David Barrett is a two time Grammy-nominated Artist and producer. Josh grew up in New Jersery around many cutting edge musicians, hailing from the same realms as the legendary Funk group, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. From his extensive experience as a bassist, he was afforded the opportunity to collaborate with such artists as, Bishop George Searight & Royal Priesthood, Tramaine Hawkins, Donovan Jackson & Joshua Generation, Q-Tip (ATCQ), Common, Quincy Jones, Mary J. Blige, Solange Knowles, Kendrick Lamar, Nas, and Kanye West to name a few. Recent collaborations include works with top Bluesman, Tomás Doncker, renowned Ethiopian singer Teddy Afro, Jesse Royal, and Grammy award winning producer Commissioner Gordon most known for his work with Lauryn Hill, Amy Winehouse, Ghetto Youths & White Tiger Society.

Josh answered the call to Reggae music in 2004 forming the band Judah Tribe, who released their debut album “Nu Day Dawnin” in 2013. As destiny would have it, Judah Tribe would open for The Wailers at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in 2012 where he and distant relatives Aston “Family Man” Barrett, Sr. and Aston Jr. would cross paths; leading to his joining The Wailers in 2015. In 2021 The Wailers released their debut album after 25 years, “One World”, co-produced by Emilio Estefan and produced by Josh David and Aston Barrett, Jr. In January 2025, Josh David released a new single “Tselot (The Lord’s Prayer)” and in the works for 2025 is new music from Judah Tribe, The Original Wailers, BaRuch Hinds, Kenyatta Hill, and more on his label Vine & Fig Tree Records.”
