Watch characters from the Museum’s paintings come to life as storyteller Jeff Hopkins illustrates and narrates engaging tales for young children.
A wonderful introduction to the world of art museums and the magic of storytelling, this program is for children ages 3-6 and features Jeff Hopkins, professional illustrator and educator. There are 6 interactive videos, each unique to Wilmington and the Delaware Art Museum, which encourage listening, observation, imagination, and play. New videos will be posted on the DelArt website’s family page weekly. Children are encouraged to watch and draw along with the videos and then choose a time to visit the Museum and find all the art that Mr. Jeff introduces!

Organizers & Sponsors
The Delaware Art Museum has been running the Storyteller in Residence program free of charge for 4 years and, thanks to generous funding from PNC, the tradition continues. This year, due to health and public safety measures, the storyteller program has moved online.
