Gifts of Art

Much of the Museum’s 12,000-object collection are gifted artwork. We are honored to be the permanent repository of works of art created by local artists and beloved by our visitors. You’ll likely recognize some of the works of art above, which all were gifts to the Delaware Art Museum.

This tradition continues with you. Your gift of art will be cared for and appreciated by visitors, school children, and scholars for generations. Because we make a permanent commitment to care for gifted art, we consider such gifts very thoughtfully. If you are interested in learning more about donating a gift of art, please contact Heather Campbell Coyle, Chief Curator and Curator of American Art, at hcoyle@delart.org or 302.351.8524.

We also welcome funds to purchase and conserve art. If you are interested in making a gift of this nature, please contact Molly Giordano, Chief Operating Officer, at mgiordano@delart.org or 302.351.8515.
