Creative Writing Break

Adult writers of all levels who are interested in poetry, fiction, and/or creative nonfiction are invited to bring their lunch to this fun, generative creative writing class led by Cassandra Lewis. During the first hour, writers will be presented with a diverse selection of literary passages and writing prompts to inspire new writing. The remaining half hour will be devoted to optional sharing, discussions related to the craft of storytelling, and guidance on how to continue the momentum by setting manageable writing goals. This format allows the flexibility for writers to fit the writing portion of class into their lunch break. Kick off a productive writing weekend by joining our writing community.

Please register early. Creative writing classes are limited to 10 students.

Lunch is not provided, though you are welcome to bring a packed lunch or purchase lunch at Kaffeina before class begins. Writers should bring a notebook and pen or pencil, or a laptop.
