Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment

The Delaware Art Museum’s Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment provides scholarships for School Field Trips, Summer Art Camp, Youth Studio Art Classes, and Adult Studio Art Classes for teens age 15 – 17 to those who demonstrate financial need and an interest in the arts.

A limited number of full and partial grants are available each session. The amount awarded is determined through a point-based system outlining various degrees of need and depends on the selected class. Scholarships for Youth level studio art classes and camp include supplies; however, scholarship recipients in teen or adult classes will need to purchase their own materials.

Grants are currently available year-round on a rolling basis for youth field trips through the Museum’s Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment. Funding supports tour admission and transportation costs. All public, private, and parochial schools in any state are eligible to apply. The total value of this grant is up to $500.00 per award.

To apply, please complete a Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment application online. Applicants will be notified of their status via email. Limit one class per person. All applicants are eligible for scholarships. Applications received after deadline dates will not be accepted. The application for field trips is part of the tour request form.

The Art Smart Fund for Student Enrichment is supported by Museum Council and generous individuals.
