Honor our ancestors and pay respect to the those who we have lost through gun violence in the city of Wilmington with an Indigenous ceremony led by Danza Azteca del Anahuac and the Nanticoke Jingle Dancers. Walk the labyrinth and visit the Ofrendas. Hosted by India Colon, this peaceful and celebratory day includes a screening of “Campantlanezi,” Seylin Abarca, and more. Food is available for purchase with plenty of traditional arts and craft vendors that honor the culture. Visitors can bring pictures of loved ones to leave at altars.
In the case of inclement weather, this event will be moved inside the Museum. View COVID-19 policies.
