Citizen Photographer Juried Exhibition Submissions

This winter, DelArt launched Citizen Photographer, a statewide initiative inviting community members to engage in civic reflection and contribute to shaping public perceptions of identity through photography. Inspired by federally funded initiatives of the past, Citizen Photographer provides a platform for Delaware residents to consider and visually capture what it means to be a Delawarean as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary.

All Delawareans are invited to submit up to two photographs for consideration for exhibition. A juried selection of works will be presented at partner sites across the state, with select photographs featured in DelArt’s Citizen Artist exhibition (April 11–July 19, 2026).
