Workshops
Hatha Yoga

Join us for a new 10-week Hatha Yoga workshop series, designed to support balance, flexibility, strength, and a deeper connection between mind and body.
In Hatha Yoga, asanas (physical postures) are held longer and practiced with greater intention than in faster-paced styles such as Vinyasa or Power Yoga. The practice can be adapted to accommodate a range of experience levels and individual needs. Each session will focus on balance, stretching, strengthening, and pranayama (breathwork). Through controlled breathing and meditation, participants will explore ways to cultivate greater balance between the mind and body.
Each 60-minute class is led by Cindy Hughes, who brings more than 30 years of experience teaching and practicing yoga.
Class Location & Arrival
Classes will be held outdoors when weather permits and indoors when necessary. Because the Museum is closed to the public during class hours, please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time and meet the instructor at the Security entrance at the back of the Museum. The instructor will then lead the group to the designated class location.
To avoid disrupting the class once it has begun, please plan to arrive on time.
