This course will focus on approaches and techniques for representational and impressionistic acrylic painting. Direct observation along with working from a photographic reference will be the basis for combining light, shadow, and color to create realistic paintings.
Supply List
Students responsibility to bring:
  • paint brush set (should include variety of sizes, round and flat shape bristles). Most sets like this are $10–15 on Amazon.
  • You are welcome to bring your own paint or extra supplies.
Supplies provided by the teacher:
  • paint
  • 11″ x 14" canvas board
  • palette paper
  • paper towels
