Watercolor Techniques with Textures

We will review the application of watercolor as a fine art medium in various artistic fields: painting, drawing, sketching, illustration, etc. The workshop will cover materials, supplies, and techniques to enhance visually watercolor artwork: papers, brushes, transparent and opaque watercolor media. We will introduce a variety of specific technical approaches: wet on dry, layering, wet on wet, imprinting, scraping, and spraying. We will introduce the use of watercolor mediums. We will discuss examples of artwork and colored pencil, and watercolor and ink.
